Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 27, 2026

1. Introduction & Paddle Merchant of Record

By accessing or using the services provided by RocketDNS Inc. ("RocketDNS", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to billing and handles returns.

2. Refunds & Cancellation

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the service, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase by contacting support. This aligns with Paddle’s buyer protection standards.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the dashboard. Your service will continue until the end of the current billing period.

3. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We are committed to providing reliable DNS resolution services.

  • Uptime Guarantee: We guarantee a 99.99% uptime for our DNS resolution infrastructure.
  • Measurement: Uptime is measured by the ability of major public DNS resolvers (Google 8.8.8.8, Cloudflare 1.1.1.1, Quad9 9.9.9.9, etc) to successfully resolve domains hosted on our authenticated name servers.
  • Exclusions: We are not responsible for client-side configuration issues. You must ensure that your primary nameserver is reachable by our servers at all times. Failures resulting from your primary server's unreachability or misconfiguration are not covered by this SLA.

In the event we fail to meet this uptime guarantee in a given calendar month, you are eligible to receive a service credit of 10% of your monthly fee for every 1% of downtime below the guarantee, up to 100% of your monthly fee.

4. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Illicit Content: Using the service to host or direct traffic to sites involved in illegal streaming downloaders, IPTV piracy, or copyright infringement.
  • Malicious Activity: Facilitating malware distribution, phishing, botnet command & control, or DDoS attacks.
  • Unauthroized Configuration: Configuring domains for which you do not have administrative authority.

Violation of this AUP may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

5. Fair Use Policy

Your subscription is subject to the following resource limits:

  • Zone Counts: Strictly enforced based on your active Plan tier.
  • Records per Zone: Strictly enforced based on your active Plan tier.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROCKETDNS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
